Lionel Messi’s influence stretches far beyond football.
Over the past two decades, the Argentine star has become one of the most recognisable athletes in the world.
His success on the pitch has made him a global icon, but his popularity has also opened the door to opportunities in entertainment and popular culture.
Messi has already appeared in a number of major advertising campaigns.
Global brands have used his image to promote products across several continents.
From sportswear partnerships to television adverts, the Inter Miami star remains one of the most marketable athletes in history.
Even away from the pitch, Messi’s presence attracts attention.
Whenever the World Cup winner appears in unexpected settings, the moment quickly spreads across social media.
Now it appears he could soon make a surprising appearance outside the world of football.
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner may soon step into the music industry, having done so with Maluma in 2023.
According to reports, Lionel Messi is set to appear in an upcoming music video, alongside fellow Argentinian teammate, Rodrigo De Paul’s, girlfriend Tini Stoessel.
Details surrounding the video remain limited at this stage.
However, early speculation online suggests the appearance could be a short cameo rather than a full role.
Even a brief appearance would likely generate huge attention.
Messi’s involvement in entertainment projects has always drawn global interest.
Since arriving in the US in 2023, the Argentine superstar has helped boost the league’s global profile, where his presence has attracted new fans.
That popularity also makes him an attractive figure for entertainment collaborations.
Music videos featuring global stars often rely on surprise cameos to generate buzz online.
Including the most famous footballer in history would almost certainly create massive attention.
For now, details about the project remain scarce.
But if the reports prove accurate, football fans could soon see Lionel Messi appear in a very different setting.
