A Paris Saint-Germain star has found himself in serious trouble after a shocking incident away from the pitch.

The situation has now taken a legal turn, and it could have major consequences for his career. The incident took place in Copenhagen, where Yoram Zague was on loan at FC Copenhagen.

At the time, the move was seen as a good opportunity for development, with the Danish club even holding an option to make the deal permanent. However, things quickly spiralled out of control.

Yoram Zague was involved in a dangerous episode in the city centre, which immediately drew attention from authorities.

Reports soon confirmed that he had been driving far beyond the legal limit on a major bridge.

According to details that later emerged, the vehicle was clocked at 65mph in an area where the speed limit was just 31mph. That alone was enough to trigger serious legal consequences.

As a result, action was taken swiftly. His loan spell was cut short in December after he was arrested, and the agreement with FC Copenhagen was terminated.

During the trial at Frederiksberg, the situation could have become even more severe. There were warnings that deportation from Denmark was also a possibility.

Speaking to local media (via The Sun), prosecutor Josefine Samuelsen explained part of the case. She said:

“Zague’s car has not been seized, due to the ownership situation around it.”

Eventually, the court delivered its verdict. The defender was handed a 20-day jail sentence along with a three-year driving ban. He also pleaded guilty and chose not to appeal the decision.

Since then, he has moved again. He joined Belgian Challenger Pro League side KAS Eupen on loan, but the situation remains complicated.

Zague must return to Denmark to serve his sentence, which creates uncertainty over his immediate future.

Before all of this, the young defender had shown promise. He made nine appearances for Paris Saint-Germain and even scored against OGC Nice.
