After leaving Liverpool and securing his dream move to Real Madrid, Trent Alexander-Arnold has opened up about the Reds.
Look, the farewell for the former right-back at Anfield didn’t go as he expected.
The booing of the fans surely had a negative impact in his mind.
However, he should remember his time at Liverpool, his boyhood club, fondly.
Trent became the play he is now with the Reds.
However, he always had a dream of representing Real Madrid.
Also, the presence of Jude Bellingham at the Los Blancos proved to be a massive draw for the England right-back.
He will soon make his debut for Xabi Alonso’s men.
But before the game, he gave an interview for Real Madrid’s website where he took a cheeky dig at his former club which some Liverpool fans may not enjoy.
Trent dicussed how he is adapting to the new environment with Real Madrid and the difference between training at Liverpool and Real Madrid.
“Hot to start with but a good session with some good things,”
Alexander-Arnold admitted.
He further went onto say,
“[It was] good to get a feel of the ball and a feel of the heat training in this climate so it was a good session.
“[It was] high quality. The ball moves very fast. Obviously it’s a lot different to what I’m used to in terms of the players and the style of play but it’s good and I’m enjoying the change and I’m enjoying being a part of it.
“It feels really good and I’m happy to be here to be honest.”
Trent Alexander-Arnold will feature for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup.
However, Liverpool will not be in action until the 13th July when the Reds will take on Preston in a friendly match.
