Tension inside the Real Madrid dressing room reportedly continues growing after another turbulent season at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The club already faced controversy in recent weeks following internal disagreements, criticism surrounding manager Alvaro Arbeloa, and several high-profile incidents involving senior players.
Kylian Mbappe also found himself at the centre of attention repeatedly during the final months of the campaign.
The French forward received criticism after travelling to Italy during his recovery period despite reports claiming Real Madrid approved the trip.
Mbappe also sparked controversy after publicly suggesting he had become the ‘fourth-choice striker’ under Arbeloa.
Those comments increased speculation surrounding his relationship with the coaching staff and several figures inside the club.
Now, fresh claims from Spain suggest another major problem may be developing behind the scenes at Real Madrid.
According to El Chiringuito TV, Mbappe’s camp believe Vinicius Junior is trying to portray the French superstar as the ‘bad guy’ inside the dressing room.
The report claims tensions between both forwards have steadily increased during recent months.
Mbappe’s entourage reportedly feel Vinicius wants to ‘beat’ the France international in that rivalry both publicly and privately.
The report also states Mbappe feels increasingly isolated inside the Real Madrid dressing room.
Unlike several other senior players, the former Paris Saint-Germain star reportedly avoided forming strong internal groups since arriving in Madrid.
As a result, Mbappe allegedly believes few teammates actively defend him when criticism intensifies around the club. The relationship between Mbappe and Arbeloa also reportedly remains strained.
According to the report, the French attacker feels unhappy with how the Real Madrid manager treated him throughout recent months.
However, club president Florentino Perez continues backing Mbappe despite the growing controversy surrounding the player.
Now, with reports of tension growing between two of the club’s biggest stars, speculation surrounding the atmosphere inside the dressing room may only intensify further.
