Real Madrid’s presidential election continues generating huge attention across European football as Florentino Perez prepares another major rebuild at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Spanish giants are coming off another disappointing campaign after finishing without a major trophy for the second consecutive season.
Despite Kylian Mbappe’s goal scoring form, Real Madrid struggled with inconsistency throughout the year and eventually watched Barcelona secure another La Liga title.
As a result, Perez has already promised major changes if he secures victory in the upcoming presidential election.
The Real Madrid president recently announced that Jose Mourinho would return as manager as part of his new project.
Meanwhile, several transfer targets have already emerged, including Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, and Josko Gvardiol.
However, Perez recently created even bigger excitement after hinting at a mystery blockbuster signing worth around €150 million.
During a media appearance, the Real Madrid president refused to reveal the player’s identity directly but provided several clues.
Perez explained that the target was not playing in the Premier League, represented a Champions League club, and possessed the level expected from a modern Galactico signing.
That immediately triggered huge speculation among supporters and media outlets.
Now, according to The Guardian, Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise is the player at the centre of Perez’s ambitious transfer plan.
The report claims Real Madrid are preparing a sensational €150 million offer for the France international if Perez wins the presidential election.
Perez wanted to distance himself from Olise’s name publicly. But the Bayern Munich star is reportedly the club president’s priority attacking target.
Real Madrid are also believed to admire Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Joao Neves. However, Olise currently sits at the very top of Perez’s wishlist.
One major reason behind the growing interest is reportedly Jose Mourinho’s admiration for the winger. Mourinho has already made it clear internally that he wants Olise as part of his new Real Madrid project.
The winger also remains under contract with the German champions until 2029, which strengthens Bayern’s negotiating position significantly.
However, if Perez wins the election, Real Madrid are expected to move aggressively in their pursuit of Michael Olise.
