Jadon Sancho remains without a club after Manchester United decided against extending his contract following the 2025/26 season.
The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Aston Villa under Unai Emery. However, Villa chose not to pursue a permanent transfer.
Sancho made 39 appearances across all competitions during his time at Villa Park. He registered one goal and three assists before ending the campaign with a Europa League winners’ medal.
His departure from United subsequently became official on June 30. The decision ended his five-year association with the club following his £72.9M arrival from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho previously spent separate loan spells with Dortmund and Chelsea after struggling to establish himself at Old Trafford.
He reached the Champions League final during his return to Dortmund in 2024. Furthermore, the winger won the Europa Conference League during his subsequent season at Chelsea.
However, Sancho has been unable to secure another move since leaving United. Links with Fiorentina and Roma failed to produce a deal, while Palmeiras have also been mentioned.
According to the Daily Mirror, Dubai-based Arabian Falcons are now preparing an approach to sign Sancho as a free agent.
Former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey manages the UAE Second Division club. Additionally, former Leicester City defender Danny Simpson works there as a player-coach.
Arabian Falcons are preparing to contact Sancho and other high-profile free agents following the closure of the main European transfer windows.
The club have already attracted former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison. He joined last summer and has since become their captain.
Arabian Falcons believe living in Dubai and their facilities could help their attempt to attract Sancho. The prospect of tax-free earnings could also form part of their pitch.
Sancho has previous connections with Dubai after travelling there during injury recovery periods earlier in his career.
The winger now faces a decision over his next move as Arabian Falcons prepare their approach. As a free agent, Sancho remains available to join a new club outside the regular transfer window.
