According to David Ornstein, the Blues have reached a total agreement with Ajax to sign Jorrel Hato.
As per Ornstein, fee is above 40 million Euros alongside a sell on.
He reports that the 19 year old is set to travel to London for a medical, before signing a seven year contract.
Hato has been regarded as one of the most promising young talents in the Netherlands.
Despite still being a teenager, he already has six caps for the Dutch senior team.
So far in his career, Hato has played 88 games as a left-back, and 70 times as a centre-back – per Transfermarkt.

Marc Cucurella has been very good at left-back, so perhaps he will play in central defence.
Even then, many fans have high hopes for Levi Colwill.
