Real Madrid is by far one of the biggest football clubs in the world. So, every player has a dream of wearing the famous Los Blancos at Santiago Bernabeu.
Now, not all Real Madrid signings fulfilled their full potential. The pressure of playing for Real Madrid is immense, and some players succumb to that pressure.
For example, James Rodriguez won the Golden Boot at the FIFA World Cup in 2014. Within a month, he was wearing the famous Real Madrid shirt.
Everyone expected him to be the next big star at Bernabeu. However, things did not go the way they were planned.
Just like Real Madrid, AC Milan are also one of the biggest names in European football history. So, playing for AC Milan is always a source of pride for any football player.
Look, AC Milan may not be getting the results they were used to getting in the past. However, they are still among the biggest clubs in Europe and Italy.
So, if a Greek club signs a player who has played for both Real Madrid and AC Milan, it has to be a big thing. Well, something similar has happened recently.
Greek club AEK Athens have signed former Real Madrid and AC Milan striker Luka Jovic on a free transfer.
The club has officially announced the signing of the Serbian international who has won two La Liga titles and a Champions League with the Los Blancos.
The 27-year-old played 51 games for Real Madrid, where he scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists.
For AC Milan, he scored 13 goals in 47 appearances and for another Italian side, Fiorentina. Jovic scored the same number of goals in 50 appearances.
AC Milan signed Jovic from Fiorentina in 2023. Now, the Serbian international will play in Greece and will be looking to prove his critics wrong.
