Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine winger wanted to join Chelsea only.

The 21-year-old winger wanted to stay in the Premier League. Also, he wanted a club that will play in the Champions League.

The Blues were eager to sign the winger as he has performed amazingly in the recent past for Manchester United.

Garnacho was seen as a key player for Erik ten Hag. Since his sacking, Ruben Amorim took charge of Manchester United.

Unfortunately, the Argentine had fallen out with the Portuguese manager after the Europa League final loss.

Since then, Alejandro Garnacho is training alone and he was not a part of the preseason squad that travelled to the USA.

Also, things went from bad to worse between Manchester United and Garnacho when he posted a picture of him wearing Marcus Rashford’s Aston Villa shirt.

From then on, it was just a matter of time when the Argentine would leave the club. Many Saudi clubs including Al-Nassr wanted to sign the player.

However, Alejandro Garnacho only wanted Chelsea because they can also offer him Champions League football.

The Blues are pursuing two deals separately at the moment. They are also eyeing a move for Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig as Fabrizio Romano reports.

However, with the personal terms agreed between Chelsea and Garnacho, the Blues will now start negotiating with Manchester United.

The Red Devils will not make things easy as they will be looking for an important fee for Garnacho.
