Manchester City have had a busy summer of incomings and outgoings.
£115.6 million has been spent on players this summer.
This includes Tijjani Reindeers for £46.3 million, Rayan Cherki for £34 million and Rayan Aït-Nouri for £31.8 million.
This is also in addition to the £180 million spent in January as the club attempted to repair the squad amidst the worst run of Pep Guardiola’s managerial career.
Omar Marmoush arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million, £50 million for Porto’s Nico González and £33.6 million for Abdukodir Khusanov.
City have also seen players depart for a total of £80.5 million this summer, including James McAtee for £30 million and Yan Couto for £25.2 million.
With a 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday evening, City looked back their imperious best.
One player was not in the squad, and could still be set for a move away from the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City star remains keen on exit
According to reports, Manchester City winger Savinho remains keen on the idea of leaving City.
Tottenham Hotspur remain the team most interested in the 21-year-old.
They had a fee of £60 million rejected by City and the blue half of Manchester had previously closed the door on the exit of Savinho.
However, their stance is set to chance if an improved offer comes their way.
With Eberechi Eze strongly linked with a move to Spurs and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo linked with a move to City, dominoes may need to fall for Savinho’s move to Tottenham to be complete.
No matter what talent Savinho has, if a £70 million or £80 million bid comes their way, Guardiola and the City board may have no choice other than to accept.
Such a move would end a one year stay for Savinho, where he played in 48 appearances across all competitions. He would only score three goals, with just one in the Premier League.
Despite the talent, some fans would have expected more out of a player that came in with so much hype.
