Atalanta have undergone a summer of change.

Former Southampton manager Ivan Jurić was appointed as manager.

He has big shoes to fill, replacing long time manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who won Atalanta the UEFA Europa League in the 2023/24 season.

€79.8 million has been spent on players, including Odilon Kossounou from Bayer Leverkusen.

Left winger Kamaldeen Sulemana is reunited with Jurić, arriving from Southampton.

They have also earned just over €104 million from player sales, including Mateo Retegui to Saudi Pro League side Al-Zadsiah for €68.25 million.

It is going to be a lot to adjust for a team that has said goodbye to a club legend in Gasperini.

With a third-place finish in Serie A last season, they are going to be expected to perform once again, adding more pressure on Jurić to replicate the success that the club has had in the past few seasons.

Atalanta in talks with Inter Milan defender

According to reports, Atalanta are in talks with Inter Milan wing back Nicola Zalewski.

A €16 million offer has been sent for the Polish international, and the two clubs are both keen on making the deal happen.

Zalewski made 34 appearances in all competitions on loan for Inter last season with a goal and three assists.

However, he only managed an average of 41.87 minutes per game in Serie A, with 963 in total.

Furthermore, he only recorded 1,413 minutes in all competitions, 41.59 minutes per appearance.

Zalewski made his loan move permanent in June, but he could already be out of the door.
