After securing their 20th Premier League title, Liverpool followed up with a stunning transfer window to back Arne Slot.
The Reds have signed all their major targets. Their notable signings are Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, and Hugo Ekitike.
However, they are yet to sign the player they wanted to have for a very long time: Alexander Isak. The Swedish international has been a major name in the transfer market this season.
It is not only because of the interest from Liverpool but also because of what is happening with Isak and his current club, Newcastle United.
The Reds are looking for a solution, and so is Isak. However, Liverpool are also looking to sell some of their players.
Arne Slot already has a bloated squad, and as a result, many players will not get enough game time.
With the World Cup coming up next year, most players want game time to get into their respective national squad for the biggest football tournament on earth.
That is why Harvey Elliott is on the verge of leaving Liverpool, as he has already agreed on personal terms with RB Leipzig.
Now, another Liverpool midfielder is eyeing a move away from the club at the closing stages of the transfer window.
This midfielder went on loan to RB Salzburg in the first half of the 24/25 season and to Las Palmas in the latter half of the season.
Now, according to Fichajes, LaLiga club Girona are eyeing a loan move to bring Stefan Bajcetic back to Spain. The 20-year-old played 14 games for Las Palmas last season.
But he couldn’t help them survive in the top division of Spanish football. Now, with Girona, the Spain U21 international will have enough game time.
Liverpool will be happy to let Bajcetic leave on loan as it will help him gain more experience and exposure to top division football.
