Liverpool are planning ahead with one eye on the future.
The club knows that Mohamed Salah’s time at Anfield may soon be coming to an end, and replacing him will be one of the toughest challenges in recent years.
Salah has been the face of the team since 2017, carrying the attack with goals, creativity, and leadership. The board does not want to be caught unprepared if he leaves.
That is why work has already started to identify the right successor, someone who can bring quality and excitement to the attack for years to come.
Salah’s influence has gone far beyond scoring goals, so the Reds need a player who can also lift the team in key moments.
Attention has now turned to Michael Olise from Bayern Munich, as per the Daily Mail. The former Crystal Palace man has been one of Europe’s most exciting young forwards.
At just 23 years old, he is already making a big impact in the Bundesliga. The French winger has settled quickly at Bayern Munich and is seen as one of the rising stars in world football.
Liverpool see him as the ideal candidate to step into Salah’s role, offering both immediate impact and long-term potential.
Transfer News Live earlier reported on Liverpool’s strong interest in Olise, showing that this pursuit is not new.
Now, with Salah’s future uncertain, the push has become more serious. Liverpool know that taking him away from Bayern will not be easy.
But they are ready to make a major investment to secure him. Olise’s style would fit perfectly at Anfield.
Replacing Salah will be a huge task, but Liverpool believe Olise has what it takes to carry that weight.
The next transfer window could mark the beginning of a new era for the Reds.
