Kenan Yildiz has quickly become one of the brightest names in European football. The Juventus forward is only 20, yet he already plays with the confidence of a veteran.
For the Turkish national team, he is no longer just a young option. He has grown into a key figure, trusted to carry the team into the next big tournaments.
That rise has not gone unnoticed across Europe. Clubs looking for long-term stars have added him to their lists, and one of the most interested is Barcelona.
The Catalan side is searching for fresh energy in attack. Also, the Barcelona president Joan Laporta sees Yildiz as a signing that could help immediately while also strengthening the future.
Manager Hansi Flick has also been impressed, believing the forward’s style would blend perfectly into the system he wants at Camp Nou.
Now, the problem is Juventus. The Turin giants have made their position clear: Yildiz will not leave cheaply.
According to Fichajes, talks, if they ever start, would only begin at a minimum of 80 million euros.
That figure underlines how highly they value the youngster and how central he is to their plans in Serie A and the Champions League.
For Barcelona, that price is a major obstacle. The club’s financial struggles make deals at this level extremely complicated.
At the same time, Premier League clubs are also watching closely, which only raises the pressure.
Yildiz, meanwhile, continues to shine in Italy. Many in Turin believe he can become the new face of the club, leading them into a new era of success.
As things stand, Juventus are determined to resist the growing interest. Barcelona, along with other European giants, will have to decide if they are willing to pay such a high price.
