Eden Hazard set for Chelsea return

Hazard is set for a return to his former club.

Eden Hazard enjoyed a fantastic spell at Chelsea Football Club.

Hazaed arrived from French side Lille in the summer of 2012 for a fee of £32 million.

Making 352 appearances in all competitions, the Belgian registered 110 goals and 88 assists.

Hazard would also go on to win two Premier League titles, two UEFA Europa League winners medals, an FA Cup and a League Cup.

A PFA Player of the Year award would also come his way during Chelsea’s 2014/15 title winning campaign.

His performances eventually led to speculation over his future.

A move to Real Madrid followed in the summer of 2019, arriving at the Spanish capital for a fee of €100 million.

At the time of the transfer, it was the sixth most expensive transfer of all-time.

What transpired was one of the worst transfers in football history.

Injuries played a massive part in his time in Madrid, missing 95 games in four seasons before his retirement in 2023.

Hazard only managed to record seven goals and 12 assists in 76 games for Los Blancos, a period where he had more games missed through injury than games he played.

Despite the departure from the club, Hazard is still viewed in high regard by Chelsea fans.

Hazard is now set for a return to Stamford Bridge, which will massively please the Chelsea fanbase.
