Sky Sports predict the final Premier League table and it doesn’t go as you’d expect

This Premier League season will be very hard to predict.

Liverpool team with the Premier League trophy

The 2025/26 Premier League season is set to resume this weekend. Arsenal are leading the race by 4 points. Manchester City are currently occupying the second spot in the table.

Chelsea are in the third spot with 20 points and are behind City by just two points. In fourth place, currently, belongs to Sunderland, who are a point behind the Blues.

Only one-third of the season is over, and the Premier League table looks tighter than ever.

From fifth to ninth, five teams are on 18 points. They are Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Bournemouth.

When it comes to the relegation battle, Wolverhampton Wanderers are at the bottom with just two points. Just above them, Nottingham Forest have 9 points, and West Ham United have 10 points.

From 14th-placed Newcastle United to 18th-placed West Ham, the point difference is just two. So, this Premier League season will be very hard to predict.

So, Arsenal are firm favourites to win the title, and Wolves are frontrunners for relegation. However, there will be a tight competition for most places this season.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports has come out with its prediction for the final Premier League table for the 2025/26 season.

Before this, Opta’s supercomputer did the same. And, Sky Sports has also predicted a title win for Arsenal. They are predicting that the Gunners will win the title by 6 points.

City would finish second as per their prediction with 72 points. Liverpool would finish third, Chelsea would finish fourth, and Manchester United could finish fifth in the table, as per Sky Sports.

For the relegation, Sky Sports is predicting that Nottingham Forest will be safe, and Burnley will be relegated with West Ham and Wolves.
