Former Chelsea star could make stunning move to Manchester City

Manchester City are weighing up a surprise move.

Transfer Update - Manchester City

Manchester City are exploring the possibility of adding a former Chelsea midfielder to their squad. As per recent reports, Pep Guardiola wants the Premier League midfielder.

The Citizens are in a tight title race with Arsenal. That is why they are assessing ways to maintain pressure at the top of the table.

Their attack has been delivering consistently this season. However, Guardiola’s main concern is the midfield.

That is why he is keen on further strengthening his midfield options ahead of the January transfer window.

Pep Guardiola failed to win a single trophy last season, which is very rare. Also, he won the Premier League four times back-to-back. But last year, he lost the title to Liverpool.

So, the Spanish boss is keen to reclaim the Premier League, and for that, he will not shy away from adding a former Chelsea player to his midfield.

According to Fichajes, Manchester City are showing serious interest in Everton midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Guardiola has personally requested the club explore a deal, Englishman’s performances have impressed Guardiola since his summer move from Chelsea.

Everton, however, are under no immediate pressure to sell, with Dewsbury-Hall tied down until 2030 after arriving for £28 million.

City are believed to value his tactical flexibility and view him as a complete midfielder capable of adapting to Guardiola’s system.

Dewsbury-Hall has registered four goals and three assists in 15 Premier League appearances this season.
