Gary Neville is growing frustrated after influencers repeatedly used the front door of his Manchester home as a backdrop for social media photos.
The former Manchester United defender is unhappy with people clambering over his steps, leaning on windows, and even climbing onto ledges as they hunt for eye-catching Instagram content.
The property is located on a prestigious Georgian street often referred to as Manchester’s “millionaires’ row.”
The area has quietly become a hotspot for influencers chasing aesthetic backdrops. However, many of those stopping to pose appear unaware that the door they are photographing belongs to Neville.
According to reports, the situation has become a daily annoyance. Influencers are regularly shooting content on the doorsteps.
Some of them even stand in the middle of the road to get the perfect angle. The reports claim Neville frequently has to ask people to move so he can leave his own house.
Meanwhile, traffic on the narrow street is also being disrupted as cars are forced to wait while influencers take photos. The street has attracted high-profile visitors as well.
Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tom Clare are among those who stopped there to take pictures in the area. This helped the location go viral, further adding to its social media appeal.
Gary Neville purchased four townhouses on the street back in 2021. He lives in one of the properties and rents out others for around £20,000 per month.
The homes themselves are prime real estate. Each house features four bedrooms, four reception rooms, a double garage, and an outdoor terrace with a retractable roof.
However, despite the luxury, the constant stream of influencers has clearly tested Neville’s patience. So, the Georgian door remains a social media magnet.
