Liverpool are keeping a close eye on one of the Premier League’s most exciting young attacking prospects. The Reds are having a tough season.
This was totally unexpected after the summer transfer window they had. They spent around £450 million and broke the British transfer record twice.
However, both Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak have failed to live up to the staggering money Liverpool paid for them.
Also, the fallout between Mohamed Salah and Arne Slot didn’t help either. It seems they have reconciled the matter, and Salah is not getting his chances.
Still, the Reds know that they need a forward. Salah is heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. There are reports that the Saudi Pro League clubs are ready to pay big money for him.
After what has happened between the Saudi Pro League management and Cristiano Ronaldo could play a role in deciding how the Middle-East clubs would approach the Salah move.
That is why Liverpool are already looking at replacements for Salah. They are already looking at RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande. Now, they have added another name to their list.
According to CaughtOffside, Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi has emerged as a potential summer target for the Reds.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in England. He has scored eight Premier League goals in 20 appearances for Bournemouth this season.
Bournemouth acted decisively to secure his signature in 2025. The club paid around £10 million to sign him from FC Lorient.
Now, Liverpool are not alone in their admiration. Chelsea and Real Madrid are also monitoring the Bournemouth forward. Meanwhile, PSG are also showing interest in the player.
Although Kroupi is under contract with Bournemouth until 2030, the club knows that they might have to sell him.
Bournemouth might ask for £70–80 million for Kroupi. So, Liverpool must submit an important offer to sign the 19-year-old.
