Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal will be encouraged to make a move for the Nigerian.

Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen is surely one of the most sought-after strikers in world football. He moved to Galatasaray from Napoli last summer in a permanent move.

The Turkish club paid €75 million to sign the Nigerian striker. For Galatasaray, Osimhen has made 66 appearances in all competitions.

He scored 54 goals and provided 14 assists for the club. The Nigerian was one of the key players at Napoli when they reclaimed the Scudetto in 2023 after 33 years.

However, after falling out with Antonio Conte, Osimhen decided to end his Napoli career and move elsewhere. That is why, when he picked Galatasaray over many top European clubs that wanted him.

Now, he is once again having an amazing season in the Turkish league. As a result, multiple European clubs will be eyeing a move for the striker.

But for one Italian club, signing Osimhen will be next to impossible because of a secret clause in his Galatasaray contract. But this clause could help Premier League and La Liga clubs.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli inserted a secret clause while selling Osimhen to Galatasaray. As per that clause, the Turkish club cannot sell Osimhen to Juventus.

If they do, then they would have to pay a penalty of €70 million to Napoli. Thus, Galatasaray will not want to pay that penalty.

That is why Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal will be encouraged to make a move for the Nigerian.

Also, Barcelona will be looking for a striker next season. They are already tracking Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.

However, they can now surely look at Osimhen as an alternative as well if they fail to land the Argentine.

However, as for Juventus, they will now have a massive task of signing Victor Osimhen if they set their sights on the Nigerian.
