Elliot Anderson

Manchester City will have a decision to make next summer. It will be one of the toughest calls the club had to make in recent years.

Rodri has been one of the best players in recent years. He was even awarded the Ballon d’Or due to his fantastic performances during Manchester City’s historic continental treble-winning campaign.

Now, his contract will expire in 2027. So, if City want to sell him, then they must make a decision next summer. Otherwise, he can leave for free the following season.

That is why Real Madrid are showing strong interest in Rodri, and they are ready to pay big money for the Spaniard. So, they can either sell him or extend his contract.

Now, Manchester City always have an eye for the future. And, they are eyeing a move for Elliot Anderson as they believe the Englishman could become an ideal replacement for Rodri.

So, according to The Sun, Manchester City are ready to join the race to sign Elliot Anderson, along with Manchester United. However, this will depend on the future of Rodri.

Now, the Spanish outlet SPORT is claiming that Real Madrid are thinking about not escalating their approach for Rodri because of various reasons.

Recently, Rodri has suffered injuries that have kept him out of action for a long period of time. Apart from that, the 29-year-old’s contract will expire in 2027.

That is why Manchester City can ask for at least €60 million for the midfielder. So, if Rodri stay, the Citizens may not make a move for Elliot Anderson.
