According to Football Insider, Liverpool want to sign Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan. The Serie A leaders want nothing less than £80 million, as per the report.
But the Nerazzurri want Bastoni to stay at the club. Also, his contract is valid until 2028. And Inter are looking to offer a new deal to Bastoni.
So, unless Liverpool make a massive offer, it will be unlikely that they could sign Bastoni next summer.
