Alvaro Arbeloa has made his feelings clear on one Real Madrid player. The Spaniard became the Real Madrid manager after Los Blancos decided to part ways with Xabi Alonso.
Last season, Real Madrid failed to win a trophy. Also, the then-Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti left the club to take up the job of Brazil’s national team.
Now, with Arbeloa in charge, Los Blancos are trying to get back to the top of Spanish football. Also, their 6-1 victory against Monaco in the Champions League will give them more confidence.
But there is one player who may not be in his plans. Also, Arbeloa has told the Madrid hierarchy to sell that player. And, the decision is now also conveyed to the player.
According to El Nacional, Alvaro Arbeola has told Trent Alexander-Arnold to look for a move away from the club. That is why Trent’s representatives are now actively looking for options.
Several outlets have reported that the former Liverpool right-back has become a target for Manchester United and Chelsea.
Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid last summer. The Los Blancos paid a small fee to secure his services before the FIFA Club World Cup.
However, the start of his Real Madrid career has been poor. He was unable to replicate the excellence he showed at Anfield.
That is why he had to sit on the bench once Dani Carvajal came back. But Xabi Alonso had faith in the right-back. He wanted the former Liverpool man to succeed at Santiago Bernabeu.
Now, since his departure, things have become worse for Trent. Arbeloa is now ready to give him a second chance.
So, his dream Real Madrid move has become a nightmare. Trent Alexander-Arnold will be looking for a move in the summer, as he tries to find a club where he can become a regular starter.
