Antonio Conte’s future has been confirmed!

The Italian mastermind joined Napoli at the start of last season, and his first season was unprecedented.

The 55 year old guided Napoli to the Scudetto following a memorable season at the Stadia Diego Armando Maradona.

Despite Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s exit in January, Napoli powered through to the title in dramatic circumstances after a final day win against Cagliari.

Conte’s future has been under real speculation following disagreements with the board, with rumours growing louder and louder.

Conte when asked about his future previously stated “You have to live in the present… the people want to win and are ambitious. I’m open to everything, but we need to see where we are”.

The Neapolitans fans would have been fearing the worst after a magnificent triumph in his first season at the club.

However the news was confirmed on Thursday evening, that Antonio Conte WILL remain at Napoli for the new season following announcements on the club’s official X page.

Napoli fans will be delighted, following a second Serie A title in three years.

Signings such as Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku under the Italian’s stewardship have proved inspired.

The Neapolitans achieved 2.15 points a game as they edged out Inter in a compelling title race.

The Italian previously has had success for the Italy national team, and won titles at Chelsea and Juventus.

After a previously poor defence of their crown, Napoli will be hoping for better things next season.

This news comes on the same day that Massimiliano Allegri is returning to Milan.

Napoli will look to make in-roads in the Champions League next season, and you wouldn’t bet against them with Antonio Conte at the wheel.
