Now it has been confirmed by Barcelona that their star man Lamine Yamal has put pen to paper on a new deal at the Camp Nou.
Yamal’s deal will run until 2031, with the hottest young property in World Football staying in Catalonia.
This comes just days after teammate Raphinha also signed a new contract with the club.
Barcelona’s wide men have been devastating this season, contributing 52 goals between them alone in all competitions.
Since bursting onto the scene last season, Lamine Yamal has already played a key role in Spain’s Euro 2024 win, as well as Barcelona’s success this season.
The young star is among the favourites for the Ballon d’Or this year, and would become the youngest receipient should he claim the prize.
Now penned to the Catalans for another 6 years, La Liga defenders won’t be catching a break anytime soon.
