Carlo Ancelotti left Real Madrid this year to manage the Brazilian national team. The Italian is one of the most successful managers of the Los Blancos.

Ancelotti won three Champions League titles with Real Madrid. So, he has a fair bit of experience in winning the competition.

The 66-year-old manager has won the Champions League more than any other manager in history. He has won it five times: two times with AC Milan and three times with Real Madrid.

So, during an interview with TNT Sports, Carlo Ancelotti was asked to predict the winners of the Champions League and the Premier League this season.

The Italian manager didn’t hesitate to say ‘My Real Madrid’. Also, he said that he fancies Arsenal to win the Premier League this season.

The Former Real Madrid manager said that he is a fan of the English league and follows clubs that have Brazilian footballers.

Ancelotti specifically pointed out clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur because they have Brazilian players.

Arsenal suffered a blip in their quest to win the Premier League last weekend when they lost to Aston Villa.

Now, the gap at the top of the table is just two points with Manchester City lurking behind them.

As for the Champions League, Real Madrid has lost once in five games, and that was against Liverpool.

However, their recent form will draw a question mark over their chances of lifting the Champions League.

Once, they were at the top of the LaLiga table by a significant margin. But with their recent slump, they have dropped to second place and are behind by four points.

Also, with their internal conflicts between players and the manager, it will be an uphill task for Real Madrid to win the top European club competition this season.
