Erling Haaland caught having cheat meal at city centre fast food restaurant

The Manchester City star does allow himself the occasional indulgence.

Erling Haaland

After Kevin De Bruyne left the club, Erling Haaland is taking up the responsibility of being a leader for Manchester City.

Haaland is doing this season what he does best, which is score goals. This season, he has 19 goals in 15 games. In the Premier League, he scored 14 goals in 11 games.

Against Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool, he showed why Pep Guardiola can rely on the Norwegian for crunch games. He is one of the most disciplined athletes in the world right now.

However, Erling Haaland has once again proved that even the most disciplined athletes need a break sometimes.

The Manchester City striker was recently seen at a popular Chinese restaurant in Manchester city centre, where he indulged in what some fans have playfully called a “cheat meal.”

The sighting took place at Happy Seasons, a well-known local eatery famous for its roasted meats and hearty portions.

Moreover, the restaurant has even honoured the Norwegian striker by naming his order after him, “The Haaland Special.”

According to an Instagram post from the restaurant, Haaland’s go-to dish consisted of roasted duck and crispy belly pork, both far removed from his famously strict nutrition plan.

The 24-year-old is known for maintaining one of football’s most disciplined diets, built around raw milk, animal heart, and liver to maximise performance and recovery.

However, the Manchester City star does allow himself the occasional indulgence.

Erling Haaland signed for Manchester City in 2022 from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of €60 million. Since then, he has won 2 Premier League titles and a Champions League with the Citizens.
