Fabrizio Romano recently shared an update on Kylian Mbappe that will concern Real Madrid fans.
Mbappe was on national duty, and he took part in the game against Ukraine. The Los Blancos ace scored a brace in that game.
Since joining Madrid in 2024, Kylian Mbappe has been in fantastic form. Last season, he won the Golden Boot.
The French international scored 31 goals to win the award. Robert Lewandowski came second in the list last season.
Mbappe is continuing his great form this season as well. Last season, Madrid failed to win a trophy, which is rare given the standards at Santiago Bernabeu.
Also, after the season, Carlo Ancelotti left the club to manage the Brazil national team. Xabi Alonso joined as the new Real Madrid boss.
Under Alonso, Mbappe has not lost his touch. He is still scoring for fun. The 26-year-old has already scored 13 goals, and he is leading the chart with some margin.
The second to Mbappe is Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid and Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona. Both are tied at seven goals each.
So, if things continue in a similar fashion, Mbappe will win the Golden Boot this season as well. However, the recent Fabrizio Romao update will make Real Madrid fans worried.
As per the Italian journalist, Kylian Mbappe was having problems with his right ankle. He was experiencing inflammation.
That is why he is leaving the French camp and joining the Real Madrid camp. Madrid will face Elche in next weekend and Alonso will hope that his premier goal scorer regains fitness before the game.
