It is not surprising to see football stars enter the world of glamour after retiring. In fact, during their playing career, they already became a part of that world through endorsements.

For years, fans have watched some of the biggest sporting personalities trade stadium lights for the wild chaos of the Australian jungle.

From managers to world champions, ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has seen its fair share of athletes swap tactics boards, and training grounds for creepy crawlies and bush tucker trials.

It all began with figures like former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, who charmed the nation and lifted the jungle crown in 2018.

In 2022, ex-England and Manchester City midfielder Jill Scott followed in his footsteps, claiming victory with her trademark humour and grit.

Even the world of football families got involved when Coleen Rooney nearly won last year, finishing as runner-up to pop star Danny Jones.

Over time, the show has welcomed boxing legends such as Amir Khan and Tony Bellew, as well as football icons Ian Wright and David Haye.

This year, however, fans can expect a fresh mix of sporting superstars and online influencers. According to The Sun, the 2025 series will see two very different stars enter the jungle.

One of them is a well-known face from English football. Yes, Alex Scott represented Arsenal, Birmingham City, and even the Boston Breakers in America.

She also made 140 appearances for England before hanging up her boots.

After retirement, she transitioned into broadcasting and became a respected presenter and now hosting Football Focus on BBC.

Along with Scott, YouTube and Twitch sensation, Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle will also join her.

Known for his fiery energy on YouTube and Twitch, the streamer has appeared in Soccer Aid and the Baller League. He is now ready to test himself in perhaps the toughest game of all.
