Liverpool have started the 2026/27 campaign under new head coach Andoni Iraola after a significant summer overhaul.
The Reds collected five points from their opening three Premier League matches. They drew 2–2 with Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest before beating Ipswich Town 2–0.
Alexander Isak scored both goals against Ipswich as Liverpool secured their first league victory of the campaign.
Liverpool also reshaped their squad during the summer following Mohamed Salah’s departure to Trabzonspor.
Bradley Barcola arrived from Paris Saint-Germain for £123M, while Victor Munoz joined from Osasuna for £34.5M.
Liverpool also strengthened defensively by signing Jeremy Jacquet and bringing Ronald Araujo in on loan from Barcelona.
Away from the pitch, Liverpool have now confirmed an important commercial change involving their shirts.
Liverpool FC have officially announced that Turkish Airlines will become the club’s main partner from June 1, 2027.
The airline’s branding will appear on the front of the men’s, women’s and Academy match shirts from the beginning of the 2027/28 season.
The agreement will bring Liverpool’s 17-year spell with Standard Chartered as their main club partner to an end.
Standard Chartered has occupied the position since 2010 and will remain Liverpool’s main partner throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
However, the company will continue its association with Liverpool after the change. It will transition to become a global partner from June 2027.
Turkish Airlines will then take over the prominent position on Liverpool’s shirts as part of the new partnership.
The agreement represents the first change to Liverpool’s main club partner in 17 years.
Liverpool described the announcement as the next chapter in their commercial history, with the transition scheduled to take place ahead of the 2027/28 season.
