Etihad Stadium, Manchester City

Manchester City are entering a crucial stage of the season. They are still fighting on multiple fronts. So, every detail now matters. Both on and off the pitch.

The Citizens have already secured the Carabao Cup. But they are still chasing more silverware. Also, the Premier League title race remains alive. Arsenal are currently leading the table.

The Gunners are nine points ahead of City. However, Pep Guardiola’s side still have a game in hand. That is why the upcoming fixtures are massive, and one result could change everything.

City are preparing for five key home games. These matches could define the title race. They will face Arsenal at the Etihad on April 19. That game could act as a title decider.

Also, Brentford, Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace will visit the Etihad Stadium. The Palace fixture was previously postponed.

On top of that, Liverpool will arrive for the FA Cup quarter-final. Now, something big is about to happen at the Etihad.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester City are close to completing a major redevelopment.

The club are working on a £300 million project and the first stage is now almost finished. So, fans could see a big change very soon.

The top tier of the North Stand is expected to open before the season ends. This will increase the stadium capacity, which is currently, around 52,000.

The new addition will bring in another 7,000 seats, which will make a noticeable difference. Also, the atmosphere inside the stadium will improve with more fans, more noise and energy.

That could give Guardiola’s side an extra push, especially in such an important part of the season.

However, City will also have to deal with a busy away schedule. They still need to travel to Chelsea, Burnley, Everton, and Bournemouth.

So, while Manchester City prepare for major changes at the Etihad Stadium, their focus will remain on delivering results when it matters most.
