The situation between Mohamed Salah and Liverpool is tense.
After his explosive interview following the Leeds United draw, it seems like his relationship with manager Arne Slot is nonexistent.
Salah stayed on the bench for the entirety of the game, which clearly made him frustrated. That is why after the game, he went on a rant during an interview. He said (quotes via The Times):
“I can’t believe it, I’m very, very disappointed. I have done so much for this club down the years and especially last season.
“Now I’m sitting on the bench and I don’t know why. It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame.”
The Egyptian seemed heartbroken as he kept saying about the promises Liverpool made but didn’t keep. Salah said:
“I got a lot of promises in the summer and so far I am on the bench for three games, so I can’t say they keep the promise.”
Salah also said about his relationship with Arne Slot and feels someone wants to get him out of the club. He said:
“I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager and all of a sudden, we don’t have any relationship.
“I don’t know why, but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.”
Mohamed Salah also hinted at a possible transfer in January when he said:
“I don’t know what is going to happen now. I will be at Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go the Africa Cup. I don’t know what is going to happen when I am there.”
Now, this interview has become a wildfire at Anfield. Many people are expecting a strong punishment for the Egyptian.
However, he was seen arriving at the training facility of Liverpool driving his Rolls-Royce car. And Liverpool fans went crazy after seeing him in that way.
Some were praising him, and some had different opinions. However, one thing was clear: the entire discussion around Liverpool is now revolving around Mohamed Salah.
🚨 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: Mohamed Salah has arrived at Liverpool’s training ground at around 9:30 local time this morning.
He will take his place among his teammates to train ahead of the trip to Italy to face Inter Milan.
