Pep Guardiola set for Amazon Prime documentary

Pep Guardiola’s final two seasons at Manchester City to be captured in four-part Prime Video documentary.

Some football stories deserve to be told in full.

Not in highlights.

And definitely not in end-of-season retrospectives.

In full.

With the camera on.

In the moments nobody else was supposed to see.

Pep Guardiola’s decade at Manchester City is one of those stories.

And this summer, it’s coming to Amazon Prime Video.

Pep Guardiola’s final two seasons at Manchester City to be captured in four-part Prime Video documentary

According to Amazon, a four-part docuseries capturing Guardiola’s last two years as Manchester City manager will launch exclusively on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland this summer.

The series has been directed by Academy and BAFTA award-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald.

Unfiltered footage of Guardiola, his squad, and the City boardroom across two of the most emotionally charged seasons in the club’s history.

The documentary opens as City’s record-breaking unbeaten run of 26 games comes to a shuddering halt.

As well as a sequence of defeats in late 2024 that left Guardiola visibly shaken.

And the club’s dominant era suddenly looking fragile for the first time in years.

But, what unfolds from there is one of the most compelling sporting stories of the decade.

Kevin De Bruyne’s emotional farewell, one of the most significant departures in Premier League history.

Bernardo Silva’s goodbye after nine trophy-laden years.

And John Stones eventually following.

Yet, a manager who knows exactly how the story ends but is determined to write the final chapters the right way.

It will be available at no additional cost to Prime members and joins the All or Nothing franchise.

However, this one feels different.

Because this is a goodbye.

And goodbyes like this don’t come along often.
