Thomas Frank has remained out of management since his short spell with Tottenham Hotspur ended in February 2026.
The Danish coach arrived in north London after building his reputation during a successful seven-year period with Brentford.
Frank guided the Bees into the Premier League through the Championship play-offs in 2021, ending their 74-year top-flight absence.
His work eventually earned him the Tottenham job in June 2025 as the club searched for Ange Postecoglou’s successor.
However, Frank struggled to reproduce his Brentford success and left Spurs after eight months following a difficult domestic campaign.
Tottenham sat 16th in the Premier League when they dismissed him after a 2-1 home defeat against Newcastle United.
The 52-year-old could now return to management, with another London club emerging as a possible destination.
According to Football Insider, Thomas Frank is keen to return to the Premier League and is assessing potential opportunities.
Crystal Palace have been mentioned as a possible destination amid uncertainty surrounding current manager Pierre Sage.
The Eagles previously considered Frank after his Tottenham departure when they were searching for Oliver Glasner’s replacement.
Palace eventually appointed Sage, but his slow start at Selhurst Park has raised questions about his long-term position.
However, the club are not currently planning an imminent managerial change after losing only once in their last five matches.
Football Insider reports that Palace could reconsider Frank if they eventually decide to part company with Sage.
Fulham have also emerged as another potential destination, with Alvaro Arbeloa facing scrutiny over his position.
Neither club is currently planning an immediate managerial change, leaving Frank’s potential Premier League return dependent on future developments.
Despite his unsuccessful Tottenham spell, his previous work at Brentford continues to influence how clubs assess his credentials.
