The Saudi Pro League has spent the last year rewriting the global football narrative.
With players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema, and Kante already lured by ambition and wealth, Saudi clubs are now taking their next steps.
Their aim is clear: compete not just for attention, but for legacy. And that starts with beating Europe’s elite to the next big name.
This summer, they have set their sights on one of the most devastating goal scorers outside of England.
A striker who has spent the last year lighting up Turkish football with a phenomenal tally of 36 goals and 8 assists in just 40 matches. His loan spell may have ended, but his form has not gone unnoticed.
Juventus have been monitoring him closely. Premier League sides, too, have sounded out his availability. And yet, the most decisive move has come from elsewhere.
One club, fresh off its qualification for the upcoming Club World Cup, has already begun its charm offensive.
Backed by enormous resources and with a growing need to land a marquee striker before their June 18 showdown with Real Madrid, they are wasting no time.
According to Foot Mercato, Al-Hilal have made Victor Osimhen their top priority.
The Saudi side are said to be ready with a staggering offer: a three-year contract worth €120 million.
It is a deal few players would turn down, and one that reflects how serious Al-Hilal are about becoming a dominant force, not only in Asia but on the global stage.
Osimhen, 26, has already proven himself in Serie A and shone even brighter during his time in Turkey.
But with Napoli ready to cash in, and interest piling up, the final decision could rest with the striker himself.
Whether Victor Osimhen chooses to continue in Europe or join Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious club could shape the summer transfer window in more ways than one.
