Another Bayern Munich star in talks for Saudi Arabia move

This would be a huge move

With Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller departing the club, many fans expect Bayern Munich to have a big summer.

Especially after the injury to Jamal Musiala complicated things – the club probably feel they are one or two forwards short, despite the signing of Luis Diaz.

Nevertheless, there could be another forward set to depart Bavaria this summer.

According to BILD (via iMiaSanMia), talks between Al-Nassr and Kingsley Coman are “advanced”.

They state that the Frenchman is on a list of players allowed to leave, and a move is becoming increasingly likely.

Safe to say, Bayern cannot sanction this unless they get an offer too good to refuse.

The attacking depth at the moment is incredibly minimal as it is.

During the friendly against Spurs on Thursday, Bayern lined up with Coman, Diaz, Harry Kane and Michael Olise.

Pretty good, but there was absolutely nothing beyond it.

Academy players came on in the second half – and did well – but that would be a lot of trust to place in them.

Serge Gnabry is another option, but he missed the game yesterday and is in general quite injury prone.

Furthermore, he is certainly not the player he was five years ago.

Bayern pretty much have five senior attackers for four positions until Musiala is back.

If Coman is allowed to leave, that becomes a bare four.

He should only be allowed to leave for a substantial fee, and once the club have a replacement ready.

The German Super Cup final with VfB Stuttgart is only in eight days time.

This would not be the first business done between Bayern and Al-Nassr, after the transfer of Sadio Mane in 2023.

Meanwhile, earlier on in this window, it was reported that Bayern defender Kim Min-jae was keen on a move to Jorge Jesus’ side.
