It’s safe to say that Bayern Munich are having a busy summer.

The club have moved to bring in Tom Bischof, Jonathan Tah and now Luis Diaz.

Meanwhile, Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane, Bryan Zaragoza, Adam Aznou and others have departed the club.

Well, there could be another player leaving Bavaria this summer.

Someone of more first team importance than any of the aforementioned departures.

According to journalist Santi Aouna, talks are ongoing between Kim Min-jae’s agent and Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

He states that the player himself is “keen” on the move to Saudi Arabia.

However, there is no agreement between the two clubs as of yet.

So far, the 28-year old has had a mixed time at Bayern.

Injuries have not helped, and nor have playing through pain.

20,000 mile round trips every international break have not helped his fitness either.

Still, there is a great player there when fit and healthy.

With Eric Dier having departed the club, Bayern cannot let Kim go without a replacement.

There is an argument to say they need a new central defender even with Kim still at the club.

So if he goes, they will definitely need to sign one.

Having just Tah and Dayot Upamecano as out and out centre halves is simply not enough.

In this situation, Bayern should be conscious of how much money a Saudi side will have to offer, and get a seriously good deal if they are going to sell the player.

They should at least be trying to recoup the money they spent to bring him from Napoli in 2023.
