The Blues are looking for a goalkeeper. In 2018, Thibaut Courtois joined Real Madrid from Chelsea. Since then, the Belgian has become the first choice keeper at Madrid.
However, there is another keep who helped the Los Blancos to clinch their last Champions League title, although he didn’t feature in the final.
That campaign showed what he can do on the pitch. That is why Chelsea are highly impressed with Andriy Lunin, and they are planning a move for the Ukrainian.
The 26-year-old is not happy because the Los Blancos trust Courtois more than him. That is why they had the Belgian in goal in the Champions League final in 2024.
However, Lunin was outstanding throughout the campaign. Now, Chelsea want to give him a new life in London.
The Blues are already planning to part ways with Robert Sanchez. So, Andriy Lunin can be a great replacement for the Spaniard.
