Chelsea have left European giants with an unexpected late decision. The Blues are trying to sign a defender in January.

They have already registered interest in Jeremy Jacquet. However, they have failed to agree on a fee with Stade Rennes.

Also, Bayern Munich have joined the race for Jacquet. So, signing the French defender will not be easy for the Blues.

That is why they are looking at their entire squad to ensure they have the strongest backline to compete for the top 4 positions in the Premier League.

So, they have made a late call, which has left European giants furious. According to BILD, Borussia Dortmund are now furious that Chelsea have made a decision to recall Aaron Anselmino.

The Blues had a recall option in Anselmino’s deal. And, they have decided to trigger that after hitting a dead-end in the transfer market.

The Argentine has made 10 appearances for the Bundesliga side, and he has a goal and an assist to his name as well.

Dortmund boss Niko Kovac is very happy with the player. However, Chelsea have now decided to recall the player.

Also, with the progress he has made, Chelsea could look for a permanent deal for Anselmino as well. With only a few days left in the market anything can happen.

For Dortmund, they are already short in defence. As a result, losing Anselmino will be a big blow. So, they will be in the market once again to find a replacement for the Argentine.
