Chelsea star offers himself to Real Madrid

Real Madrid may find it difficult to do the deal unless Chelsea drops their valuation.

Transfer Update - Real Madrid

Real Madrid will be looking to make big moves next summer. As Transfer News Live reported earlier, they have already decided on their first signing.

However, now a Chelsea player has offered himself to the Los Blancos. When Xabi Alonso was in charge, he was looking for a midfielder who could control the game.

But Real Madrid did not sign such a player. They wanted to rely on their existing squad. Now, after Alonso left the club, the need is more evident.

So, the Real Madrid hierarchy are now ready to back Alvaro Arbeloa with that signing next summer. However, they will be looking to sign a defender first.

With Dayot Upamecano close to signing a new deal and Marc Guehi signing for Manchester City, they have set their sights on Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund.

However, apart from the German, they will be looking to add a midfielder. And Florentino Perez has a midfielder in mind that they believe could transform the team.

Real Madrid would like to sign Vitinha from Paris Saint-Germain. However, it will be very difficult to sign the Portuguese as he is an important part of Luis Enrique’s team.

That is why Madrid are looking at Plan B. And now, they have got an advantage as the player himself has offered his services to the club.

According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda (via OKDiario), Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has offered himself to Real Madrid.

The Argentine is not happy with his life in London, as per the report. Fernandez is very close to Franco Mastantuono. And, the midfielder has revealed his dream of playing for Real Madrid.

Now, Enzo Fernandez has a contract with Chelsea until 2031. The Blues will be charging a high amount for the midfielder.

So, Real Madrid may find it difficult to do the deal unless Chelsea drops their valuation and settle for a reasonable price.
