Como have not waited around this summer. After having finished 1oth in Serie A last campaign. They are working fast to improve and push up the league next season.
A new striker has been on their list. After finishing mid table to add firepower to their front line and injuries that hurt them at times last season.
So Cesc Fabregas and the club have decided to go all in. At first they focused on targeting players.
Now, Como has turned to a new name. This player has been linked to the club for a long time.
The striker is strong, ruthless and sharp up front. Last season, he scored six goals in 12 matches.
He helped push Galatasaray over the line and win the League title.
The fact that the player was on loan from another club this made things tricky.
Now according to Fabrizio Romano, the Como president Mirwan Suwarso says
“Álvaro Morata deal is ready. He has agreed on terms and we’ve agreed on every detail with AC Milan”. “We just wait on Galatasaray to speak to AC Milan. We did our job”.
As per Romano’s report, the Italian side has already agreed a deal with Morata after waiting a month for Galatasaray to complete the Victor Osimhen deal.
The Spanish striker looks to be Como’s new striker who will most importantly add goals to their side.
If the deal gets done, it will be a major statement to the rest of Serie A as Morata holds high level of experience at multiple clubs and within multiple Leagues. And Como are going to push for the UEFA Champions League spots next season and hopefully have an improved season.
