After signing Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman this summer, Al-Nassr has become a serious contender to win the Saudi Pro League this season.
The Riyadh-based side has won all their first 5 encounters of the season with the latest one being against Al-Fateh.
Now, their star man Cristiano Ronaldo wants to add more fire power to their attacking. That is why the Portuguese legend is asking his club to bring in a star player from Barcelona.
The Catalan club is looking for financial stability. Thus, a deal with a Saudi Pro League club will bring a massive injection of cash into the club.
So, if they come for a player like Raphinha who has multiple years left in his contract, Barcelona will be benefitted greatly.
However, the Blaugrana will not see any major boost in cashflow if the Saudi club signs a free agent.
And that is where Barcelona could feel a bit unlucky. It is because the player Al-Nassr is targeting with have his contract expiry next summer.
Barcelona would ideally love to do the deal this summer as it would help them get some cash for the player. However, things could happen differently to what Deco and Joan Laporta are envisioning.
According to Fichajes, Cristiano Ronaldo wants Al-Nassr to go for the signing of Robert Lewandowski. The Portuguese international has immense respect for the Polish international.
Also, Ronaldo knows that signing a player like Lewandowski will help Al-Nassr in future. Also, it could be a sign that the Portuguese might decide to call it a day after the World Cup.
So, if Al-Nassr do sign Lewandowski, then it could be seen as a sign that the end is near for perhaps one of the greatest footballers to have ever graced the football pitch.
