Denzel Dumfries could be edging closer to a move away from Inter Milan. Premier League clubs are showing interest in the defender ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Dutch international has established himself as one of Inter’s most reliable performers since arriving in Italy.

His physical strength and consistent output from the right flank have made him one of the best in his position in the world.

The 29-year-old’s profile has not gone unnoticed in England. Big clubs are looking for a proven, high-level defender who is capable of making an immediate impact.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, two Premier League sides are actively monitoring Dumfries’ situation. But the journalist didn’t disclose the names of those two clubs.

The 29-year-old is viewed as an attractive option due to both his experience at the top level and the financial structure of his deal in Milan.

Dumfries has a €25 million release clause that can be activated in July 2026. His current contract with Inter runs until 2028.

Such an amount is not out of reach for most Premier League clubs. However, Dumfries might look to join a club that plays in the Champions League.

Inter Milan are not under immediate pressure to sell, but the presence of a release clause means the situation could evolve quickly if Premier League clubs decide to move decisively.

The Italian journalist also updated that the Serie A giants are already searching for a replacement for the Dutch international

With Dumfries entering his prime years, a switch to England this summer is now a realistic possibility rather than distant speculation.
