Dominik Szoboszlai is having a fantastic season with Liverpool. The Hungarian has made 35 appearances for the Reds so far this season.
And in those games, he had made 7 assists and scored 10 goals in all competitions. So, his performances have caught the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Real Madrid are one of those clubs that is keeping an eye on Szoboszlai for a move next summer. The Los Blancos are looking for a creative midfielder.
Also, the versatility of Szoboszlai makes him a special player. Often, Arne Slot used him as the right-back because of the injury crisis.
There is no doubt that his best position is in the midfield, where he has shone for Liverpool this season. That is why Real Madrid are seriously considering making a move for the 25-year-old.
Now, Dominik Szoboszlai’s agent, Matyas Esterhazy, has opened up about Real Madrid links and a possible move away from Anfield. During an interview with NB1HU, the agent said:
“It’s completely normal for the public, when Dominik is performing like this, to talk about what’s next and if there’s something higher.
“For us, it’s not a topic. We are mid-season; he has a lot of work ahead of him in the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League.
“He has said many times how important this competition is for him.
“So, at the moment, to talk about what will happen in the summer, in my opinion, is not correct.
“Not to mention, Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and Dominik is in a position within the team that has a lot of reserve, so we are not looking outside or elsewhere.”
So, it is unlikely that Dominik Szoboszlai will leave for Real Madrid next summer. But in the transfer market, anything can happen.
