Ousmane Dembele

Whenever there is a big money transfer speculation, the name of Manchester City will appear. The same thing is happening with Ousmane Dembele’s situation.

The 2025 Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly at odds with Luis Enrique and could leave the club next summer.

Now, there is no denying the impact Dembele had when Paris Saint-Germain won the sextuple. They joined Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the elite list to achieve this.

PSG could have written history if they had won the FIFA Club World Cup. However, they lost in the final to Chelsea, which meant they had to settle for six trophies last season.

And Ousmane Dembele was a key part of PSG’s success in the 2024-25 season. Dembele played 53 games for the Parisians in that season, scoring 35 goals.

Because of his performances, he was awarded the Ballon d’Or, leaving Lamine Yamal and Mohamed Salah behind in the race.

But this season, Dembele is unhappy at PSG due to the lack of game time, and he has also fallen out with Luis Enrique.

Now, reports have emerged that there has been a meeting between Dembele’s agent Moussa Sissoko and Manchester City’s director of football, Hugo Viana.

Thus, many outlets have linked Ousmane Dembele to Manchester City for a potential summer move. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, that meeting was not about the Dembele deal.

Manchester City have not opened talks regarding a transfer at this stage. However, if PSG are ready to sell, surely, the Citizens will be one of the teams lining up for a move next summer.
