Fenerbahce have officially confirmed the signing of a Manchester City player.

Fenerbahce have officially confirmed the signing of a Manchester City player.

The Citizens have also entered a new era. Pep Guardiola left the club at the end of last season, with Enzo Maresca taking charge.

City have already completed a record-breaking £116 million deal for Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

They are also monitoring Tino Livramento and Lille teenager Ayyoub Bouaddi, while deciding against a move for Chelsea defender Malo Gusto.

However, Fenerbahce have now announced that they have signed Nathan Ake from Manchester City.

The Dutch defender leaves Manchester City after six successful seasons. He joined from Bournemouth in 2020 and went on to make 177 appearances for the club.

During that spell, he lifted 12 major trophies, including multiple Premier League titles and the famous continental treble.

His ability to play in several defensive positions made him one of Guardiola’s most trusted players.

Ake also represented the Netherlands at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He featured in three matches and started the Round of 32 defeat to Morocco before completing his move to Turkey.

Fenerbahce confirmed the transfer in an official statement. The club announced that an agreement had been reached with the Netherlands international.

They also revealed that Aké will join the squad at the Austria training camp once his post-World Cup leave comes to an end.
