Real Madrid have hit rock bottom after they crashed out of the Copa del Rey. The Los Blancos lost to Albacete, a second division team in Spain.
It was the worst possible start for Alvaro Arbeloa as the manager at Santiago Bernabeu. If results don’t change, Florentino Perez will look to change things once again.
The Real Madrid president already has a name in mind he would like to see in the dugout at Santiago Bernabeu.
Perez wants to bring Jurgen Klopp to Madrid. Currently working with the Red Bull group, the former Liverpool manager has already opened up about Madrid links.
Now, Perez will not be satisfied with only bringing in Klopp. He wants to build the next ‘Galactico’ at Madrid. For that, he wants to add another forward.
According to Sky Sports Germany, the Los Blancos wants to sign Erling Haaland next summer from Manchester City.
The Norwegian already extended his contract with Manchester City until 2034. As a result, signing Haaland will not be easy for Perez.
Also, Spanish outlet Fichajes reported that Madrid might have to pay over €500 million to sign Haaland.
The Los Blancos already have forwards like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo. Adding Haaland to their lineup will scare any opposition.
And if Jurgen Klopp joins Real Madrid, then the team could become one of the greatest football teams ever to play the game.
Now, it will be interesting to see whether the Los Blancos truly make a move for Haaland or not.
