Inter Milan have made an early move in the transfer market but few expected it to be completed this quickly.
With the summer reshuffle gaining momentum and preparations already underway for the FIFA Club World Cup, the Nerazzurri’s top brass wasted no time in identifying key reinforcements.
And it was today that one such deal quietly crossed the finish line. While other European giants continue to negotiate and stall, Inter moved swiftly.
Quiet discussions turned into firm decisions, and the green light was given.
The Serie A giants have long been exploring the market for a versatile attacking profile someone who could provide width, pace, and creativity from the flanks. And now, they have found their man.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan have reached a verbal agreement to sign Brazilian winger Luis Henrique from Olympique de Marseille.
The deal, struck between Inter president Giuseppe Marotta and OM counterpart Pablo Longoria, is worth a reported €25 million, with just the payment structure left to be formalised.
Henrique, 23, had been on the radar of several clubs following a string of standout performances in Ligue 1. But it is Inter who have acted decisively, tying him down to a five-year contract as they gear up for a high-stakes campaign across multiple fronts.
The Brazilian, who operates primarily on the left but is equally effective on the right, is expected to inject much-needed dynamism into Inter’s forward line. His ability to stretch defences, beat his man, and deliver in the final third makes him an exciting fit for the Nerazzurri.
And with the Club World Cup looming, timing is everything. Inter want their squad locked in early, and this signing signals their intent.
Luis Henrique will soon arrive in Italy to finalise the move and undergo medicals—setting the tone for what could be another impressive window for the Nerazzurri.
