After winning the Premier League, Liverpool have shown their intent in the transfer market. They not only want to dominate the Premier League but also the Champions League.

Last time, Liverpool were one of the favourites to win Europe’s elite competition. They finished on top of the table in the initial league phase of the revamped Champions League.

However, the Reds were knocked out by the eventual champions PSG in the round of 16 on penalties.

That is why Arne Slot doesn’t want to leave any gap in his squad. Liverpool are not known for going big in the transfer market.

But, under Arne Slot, the Reds are changing that perception. They have already gone bid with Florian Wirtz. They are paying £100 million upfront and £16 million on add-ons.

Also, they have bought Milos Kerkez for £40 million and Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5 million. On top of those signings, they have also paid £69 million for Hugo Ekitike.

Now, Liverpool are also planning a massive £120 million bid for Alexander Isak, which will go up to £150 million with potential add-ons.

So, to balance their books, Liverpool need to sell some of their key stars. Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid as a free agent.

However, the sale of Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich will bring in £65.5 million. Yet, Liverpool need more sales. Federico Chiesa is linked with a move away from Anfield.

His potential destination could be a return to Serie A. However, Juventus are not eyeing a move to reunite with Chiesa.

According to Fichajes, Juventus want to sign Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez. The Reds are looking for a transfer fee of around £50m to £55m for the Uruguayan.

Paying such a fee can be a challenge for the Old Lady unless they get a solution for Dusan Vlahovic.
