Liverpool were crowned champions of the Premier League in 2024/25.
Despite accumulating 84 points, they eased to the title.
They finished 10 points clear of second place Arsenal, and 13 ahead of Manchester City.
There was constant talk throughout the season regarding player contracts.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohammed Salah both signed two-year extensions, but Trent Alexander-Arnold ended up not signing a new deal.
Despite his contract running down, Liverpool did receive a £10 million fee from Real Madrid.
This was to allow him to take part in the upcoming inaugural FIFA Club World Cup.
Liverpool have already found his replacement, signing Jeremy Frimpong as his replacement.
He arrives from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5 million.
His teammate is also set to join.
German international Florian Wirtz is said to only want to play for Liverpool.
Doing so, he fended off interest from both Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Liverpool have reportedly upped their offer to £113 million, after their initial £109 million bid was rejected.
The club are also reportedly close to signing Bournemouth left back Milos Kerkez.
There have also been plenty of outgoings ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Caoimhin Kelleher will finally get his chance at a permanent starting role.
He signed for Brentford last week for £12.5 million, a fee that could rise with performance related add ons.
Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz, Joe Gomez, Nat Phillips and Harvey Elliot have all been heavily linked with moves away.
It has also been reported that Federico Chiesa is set to depart this summer.
The Italian joined last summer for a fee of £10 million, plus an extra £2.5 million in add-ons.
However, he played just six times in the Premier League in 2024/25 with just one start.
Despite his lack of game time, Liverpool fans took to Chiesa and even created a chant for him that was sung at Anfield.
The players seemingly loved him and the Euro 2020 winner appeared to enjoy his time in Merseyside despite a lack of minutes.
There have been a number of Serie A clubs who have enquired about the availability of Chiesa.
Having already played for Fiorentina and Juventus, a move back to his native land seems feasible.
